The conference was opened by the Mayor of Cambridge and provided an excellent opportunity for people from different countries, nationalities and backgrounds and specialisms from different areas of expertise (such as diversity and inclusion, innovation, industry and commerce, culture & languages, health, education, climate change, science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM), gamification, and nutrition) to come together, network, build new partnerships and to have a greater appreciation of the varied backgrounds of the participants. We aimed to increase awareness of diversity and inclusion and raise funds towards the cost of supporting the project Girls Back to School in Northern and Central Mozambique
